Second generation antiques dealer Killian Mc Nulty expanded his repertoire into Mid Century design twenty years ago with his venture Mid Century Online and Killian now brings his mastery of this era of design to his new venture Killian Mc Nulty Gallery in partnership with his designer wife Niamh Barry.

For over thirty years working in all aspects of antiques, serving the Film industry as an advisor and supplier of props and furniture, Killian’s expert knowledge of antiques across many centuries is deep. Through this time working with antiques, Killian honed his craft as a purveyor and dealer in beautiful things and this evolved into a passion for Mid Century design specialising primarily but not exclusively in post war American design furniture.

Niamh Barry has been working as a designer of sculptural lighting and furniture for thirty years. Working almost exclusively with bronze, all her work is handcrafted in her studio along side her team of craftspeople in Dublin. Her work is exhibited and collected internationally.

In 2024 Killian and Niamh decided to open a gallery space to combine their talents together into one venture, Killian Mc Nulty Gallery. The gallery is a curated space showcasing a selection of the best pieces of Mid Century design from USA, France, Italy, Denmark alongside Niamh’s lighting sculptures and sculptural furniture. Located in the historical heart of Dublin city on Francis street in the liberties, it is a space designed to be a place of inspiration, with each piece selected and placed to give inspiration to those who visit as to how one can live with this type of design.
