Niels Moller 78 teak dining chairs are in our opinion among the very best dining chairs from this period. If Danish modern is your style then the Moller 78 chairs have likely been on your radar. I have personally had a set of Niels Moller chairs around my own dining table for many years and I can attest to their strength and comfort. I like long lingering hours at the table and these chairs aid that.There are two types of teak Moller 78 – the ones where the leg cuts off at the seat and the ones where the leg goes up into a hump that rises above the seat. This set is the latter which in our experience over the years are the more popular version.
The chairs have been upholstered in a linen style oatmeal fabric. The soft seat version like this are without a doubt the most comfortable ones to use. I have always found the back to be ergonomic and suit my back. The teak has been fully restored and all joints have been checked and fixed where required. The chairs are presented in wonderful condition however if you prefer a different fabric or leather on the seat this can be arranged. In our images the chairs can be seen paired with our teak Arne Vodder 212 dining table which is available separately in our other listing.
